David Fischer I feel as if somebody had drowned me in heavy oil. Seldom before have I ever felt so filthy and disgusting. If I had the chance, I would take a shower in tar right now, just to feel cleaner afterwards.
That is what Bishop's excellent debut has done to me. This is as agonizing, terrorizing, claustrophobic and soul-destroying as it gets. Prime sludge, weighing a metric ton and crushing you under the mighty, the holy, the primordial riff. I haven't felt this bad since my last suicide attempt. Favorite track: Untitled IV.
